Een pdf openen is een fluitje van minder dan een cent; de Reader van Adobe is namelijk gratis. In tegenstelling tot de Writer; wie zelf een pdf wil maken is daar bij Adobe (niet schrikken) van 415 tot 665 euro voor kwijt. Daar is nu een open source oplossing voor: PDFCreator.Creating PDF files in Windows is no longer an expensive proposition. PDFCreator works by installing a dummy printer definition on your Windows box. Anytime you want to create a PDF, all you have to do is select File > Print in whatever application you're in, select the PDFCreator dummy printer, and watch the magic happen. PDFCreator has more options than you can shake a stick at, and I have yet to see it generate a poor-quality PDF.
